international day of museums

On the occasion of the European Night of Museums and the International Day of Museums, which this year has the theme “Museums for Education and Research,” we propose a journey to discover the history of weaving in the territory of the Upper Agno Valley starting from the oldest evidence to the most recent times.
The activity will take place within the city’s two museums: the D. Dal Lago Civic Museum and the Textile Machinery Museum.
8:30 p.m. Meet at Palazzo Festari (Corso Italia 63- Valdagno) and visit the archaeological section of the D. Dal Lago Civic Museum.
Following this, transfer to walk along Social City and visit the Textile Machinery Museum.
The tour will be led by D. Dal Lago Civic Museum staff and Annalisa Castagna.
The activity is open access.
